How To Avail the Akasa Air Student Discount?
Akasa Air’s Student Discount is a specialised travel program designed to make domestic air travel more affordable and easy for young learners. Under this scheme, students enjoy a flat 7% discount on the basic fare for both one-way and return flight bookings within India.
Added benefits like an increased baggage allowance of 15 kg check-in baggage plus an extra 10 kg when a valid student ID is shown at the airport. Tickets booked under this discount are flexible, as they can be changed or refunded, but they are not transferable. There is no expiry date for this program, but the offer is time-sensitive, as only a limited number of seats are available for this discount on a first-come, first-served basis.
Terms & Conditions
Only those students whose aged is between 12 to 24 years old and are currently enrolled in a school or university in India can avail this discount.
Students receive an additional benefit of 10 kg on top of the standard 15 kg check-in limit, provided they show a valid Student ID at the counter.
It is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the original student ID card issued by an authorised Indian educational institution.
Bookings are changeable and refundable; however, they are non-transferable.
The discount is only for the student, and the other friends and family members are not allowed to avail this. Seats are limited, and they are only given out when your availability is shown.
