About Modibodi
An Australian company called Modibodi creates environmentally friendly clothing for incontinence, sweating, pregnancy, and periods. The business is headquartered in Balmain, New South Wales, and was established in 2013. Modibodi was purchased by Essity for $140 million on July 7th, 2022. Modibodi was founded to help people to better manage their periods, sweat, and incontinence without the need for disposable pads, tampons, or liners. It's a more comfortable, dignified solution that is better for our bodies and better for the environment.
They make products that have the ability on the top layer quickly wick away moisture, fight bacteria, and stops smells, so you stay dry and fresh. The middle layer safely absorbs fluid and locks it away (2.5-20mls depending on the flow you go with) The bottom layer is extra waterproof protection, so you're super secure and sassy as always. Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, they focused on collaborating with Plan International and their partners to successfully roll out a significant menstrual health management program in rural Laos.
