How to Claim the Autodesk Student Discount 

Autodesk does not offer a traditional percentage-based student discount. Instead, eligible students and educators receive free access to Autodesk's professional software through the Autodesk Education Plan. This includes popular applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, Maya, Fusion, Inventor, and 3ds Max with the same core features available in paid commercial versions. The education license is valid for one year, can be renewed annually while eligibility is maintained, and is intended strictly for educational and non-commercial use. How to Get Autodesk Student Access & Verification Process

To access Autodesk's free student software, create or sign in to an Autodesk account and select the product you want from the Education portal. During registration, choose your educational role (Student or Educator), provide your institution details, and complete the eligibility verification process. Autodesk verifies educational status through its third-party verification partner, SheerID, which may instantly confirm your enrollment or request supporting documents such as a valid student ID, enrollment certificate, transcript, or an official letter from your educational institution. Once your eligibility is approved, you can immediately download and use Autodesk software under the Education Plan. Access remains active for one year and can be renewed by completing the verification process again if you are still eligible.
