Notion Student Discount
Notion offers eligible college and university students a free Education Plus Plan instead of a traditional percentage discount. The plan includes premium Plus features at no cost, helping students organize notes, assignments, projects, and study materials in a single workspace.
How to Get the Free Education Plus Plan
- Create a Notion account or sign in using your school email address.
- Open Settings from the sidebar.
- Select Upgrade plan.
- Click Get free Education plan.
- If your school is recognized, your workspace will automatically be upgraded to the Education Plus Plan.
- If your school isn't recognized but is listed in the World Higher Education Database (WHED), contact
team@makenotion.com to request approval for your school domain.

Eligibility
You are eligible if:
You are a student or educator at an accredited college or university.
You sign in using a valid school email address recognized by Notion.
You are not eligible if:
You are a K–12 student or educator.
Your Notion account uses a personal email address (such as Gmail or Yahoo) instead of a school email.
Terms & Conditions
- The Education Plus Plan is available only to eligible higher education students and educators.
- A valid school email address is required for verification.
- Individual students receive the Education Plus Plan for a single-user workspace.
- Student organizations at eligible higher education institutions may also qualify for a free Plus Plan for collaborative workspaces.
- Offer terms and eligibility requirements are subject to Notion's policies and may change over time.
