Order, Return & Subscription Policy

Order Management

Thomson Reuters provides customers with a convenient self-service platform through My Account, where users can easily manage orders, track shipments, and request reshipments. To reship an order, customers can log into their account, navigate to Orders & Returns, and select the relevant order number.

Items eligible for reshipment can be processed directly online by entering the reship quantity and reason before verifying and submitting the request. If assistance is required, customers may use the 24/7 chat service or submit a reshipment request form, with responses typically provided within 1–2 business days.

Return Policy

If customers are not fully satisfied with their Thomson Reuters legal products, they may return them within 45 days of the shipment date for credit. All return shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer, and applicable promotional discounts will be forfeited if part of a discounted package is returned.

Returned products must be sent in their original packaging, using a trackable and insured shipping method, and must include a copy of the billing or delivery document along with a brief explanation of the return reason. Returns should be shipped to the designated Thomson Reuters Returns Building B in Eagan, Minnesota. Products received after 45 days or those included in specific programs—such as Library Maintenance Agreements, West Complete, or ProView eBooks—are nonrefundable and ineligible for return.

Subscription Cancellation

Thomson Reuters offers flexibility for customers who wish to modify or cancel their subscriptions, with policies that vary by product type and contract terms. Subscriptions for print materials, ProView eBooks, FindLaw, Super Lawyers, and online platforms like Westlaw, Practical Law, and CLEAR can be requested for cancellation by calling Customer Support at 1-800-328-4880 or by submitting an online cancellation request form.

Each request is reviewed in accordance with contractual obligations, and submission of a request does not guarantee cancellation until approved by Thomson Reuters.
