What Is the Trailways Student Discount?

Trailways offers eligible students 15% off the regular adult fare at participating locations. Students can qualify by presenting a valid college identification card or, at certain locations, a Student Advantage Card™. The discount is subject to travel-area and bus-carrier restrictions, so it may not be available for every destination.

How to Claim and Verify the Discount

To use the Trailways student discount, book or purchase your ticket at a participating location and present the required student identification to the ticket-selling agent. Students using the college ID option must show a valid college ID or sufficient proof of current college enrollment. At locations where the Student Advantage Card is required, only a valid Student Advantage Card™ is accepted for the discount. Trailways lists specific locations for each verification method, so check the applicable location before traveling.
