United Airlines Young Adult Discount
United Airlines offers a special student Discount for travelers aged 18–23. Eligible MileagePlus® members can save 5% on selected United Economy® and Basic Economy fares when booking through the United app. The offer applies to eligible domestic United flights, selected international routes departing from the U.S., and some partner airline flights booked as “UA” flights.
How to Claim the United Airlines Discount
Download and open the United Airlines app
Sign in to your MileagePlus® account or create a free account if you’re new
Go to the flight booking section in the app
Select the Young Adult Discount option before searching for flights
Enter your travel details and search for eligible flights
Choose your preferred flight from the available discounted options
The 5% discount will automatically appear at checkout before payment
Travel Perks for Eligible Members
Premier® members and eligible United cardholders can still enjoy their regular travel benefits while using the Young Adult Discount. Depending on your membership or card status, you may receive perks like priority boarding, a full-size carry-on bag, and free checked baggage on eligible flights, helping make your travel experience smoother and more convenient while still saving on airfare.
