Best 16 Victoria’s Secret Perfumes Within Budget 2021

Best 16 Victoria’s Secret Perfumes Within Budget

Posted on |

Although Victoria’s Secret is better known for its lingerie than for its perfumes, they’ve been releasing new Victoria’s Secret perfumes regularly since the early 1990s. Now, Victoria’s Secret outlet has over 300 different perfumes in its collection, which can make it extremely difficult for ladies to find out if one of their unique scents would suit them without having to try out hundreds of different perfumes.

Searching through Victoria’s Secret perfume collection to find the best Victoria’s Secret perfumes was indeed an inhuman task, but it was a task to make it complete. We here at Savingsays put forward 16 of the best Victoria’s Secret perfumes within budget alphabetically and then rated them according to several different factors. What we came up with was an eclectic list of perfumes that should prove useful to anyone looking for a new scent.

Victoria’s Secret Pink

Victoria’s Secret appears to be a worldwide influence on so many American women’s experiences with viable, mainstream femininity. You can find Victoria’s Secret stores in almost every mall across America, it’s probably that place where every young lady went to purchase one of her first Victoria’s Secret bras and panties. Much like its unique merchandise, Victoria’s Secret stores are pretty, frilly, and pink; they’re invitingly dimly lit with tiered displays of three-for-$30 Victoria’s Secret panties that looked like cotton-blend wedding cakes. The glossy, modern, rococo decor screamed “affordable luxury.”

Victoria’s Secret Pink

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is generally a glitzy catwalk-turned-circus full of Victoria’s Secret models, pop stars, and of course, incredibly extra Victoria’s Secret lingerie that no one can purchase, framed by wings so spectacularly wide that they would never even be able to fit through the doorway of any bedroom. While Victoria’s Secret’s fashion branch is finding itself a pop-culture pariah, how can we forget its fragrances, which arguably are the backbone of its beauty offerings? For those who couldn’t find a comfortable bra in those pink-striped dressing rooms, finding a fragrance that appealed to a suburban fantasy of lingerie-clad love can be a much more pleasurable experience.

History of Victoria’s Secret

Victoria’s Secret is a company that has a unique history. It was founded by Roy Raymond and his wife Gay Raymond on June 12, 1977. Victoria’s Secret store was founded when Roy Raymond thought that packaged nightgowns and underwears were ugly.

Roy Raymond borrowed $40,000 from his parents and an additional $40,000 from a bank and established Victoria’s Secret. He opened his first store in Palo Alto California in the Stanford Shopping Center. He picks out the name Victoria’s Secret by joining the name of Queen Victoria with the impression of secret clothing lingerie hidden under day-to-day clothing. Since his wife was in a sorority called Pi Beta Phi that used angels as their mascot, he decided to incorporate the idea of Victoria’s Secret angels into the marketing and image of the company.

During the company’s first year in business, it generated approximately half a million in sales. In the early 1980s, it was making over $7 million a year. Their sales continued to increase over the next decade, but they wanted to increase their business model, so they decided to get into the perfume industry in 1992. The first perfume they released was Rapture—a perfume that was based upon a citrus and floral blend of notes. Unfortunately, in 2016, that fragrance was discontinued.

From the early 1990s to the present, the company would release several quality fragrances and has won an assortment of industry awards including Fragrance Of The Year Awards, Consumer Choice Awards, and even an award for Best Packaging Of The Year. Nowadays, this company has approximately 353 perfumes in its collection and all of these perfumes are waiting for the consumer to select the one they like the best.

Different Types of Victoria’s Secret Perfumes Available

Before we start looking at the top Victoria’s Secret Perfumes you can buy, do you know what type you are looking for?
Victoria’s Secret has it all body mists, lotions, and both Eau de Parfums and Eau de Toilettes. But what is the difference?

Here are the different types of perfumes you’ll find and what they mean:

Best Victoria's Secret Perfumes 2020
  • Eau de Parfum – stronger, less diluted fragrance with a stronger scent
  • Eau de Toilette – the fragrance is diluted in more alcohol with a light scent
  • Body Mist – super diluted fragrance. It doesn’t last very long when you put it on, requires multiple applications.

While EDTs will be priced lower, you might have to apply more of it to obtain the same effect as EDPs.

Victoria’s Secret perfumes discover their home on a lot of vanities all over the globe. There are plenty, so no matter what you prefer, you can sniff around the store and find something you love, no matter what your gender is or is not. As much as I hate gendering fragrances, its scents are unapologetically feminine, playful, flirty, and sexy, and celebrate everything that being a woman encompasses which is, of course, everything.

I reviewed the top 16 best-selling perfumes at Victoria’s Secret to discern what makes them the award-winning, nostalgia-wafting, mall-perfume juggernauts that they are.

1. Be My Wish

Be the universally adored fantasy with this bewildering scent of plum and raspberry that speaks seduction and appeal wherever you go.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Plum
  • Raspberry
Victoria's Secret Be My Wish Eau de Parfum
Be My Wish Eau de Parfum

Be My Wish Review

Be My Wish is still a most loved by numerous users of Victoria’s Secret perfumes although it has been propelled as a constrained version scent for the Christmas season. With notes of smooth plum and raspberry, it has a fruity, sweet scent that is ideal for ordinary wear. Suitable for ladies, all things considered, Be My Wish has a crisp, refreshing inclination to it.

Pros

  • Stays on longer than other scent mists
  • Fruity & clean scent

Cons

  • Not easily accessible

When to Wear Be My Wish

It is ideal for ordinary wear as its scent stays longer.

2. Bombshell

Bombshell is the number-one top-selling fragrance at Victoria’s Secret and the only one with a bottle that directly references the iconic pink-striped bag. Victoria’s Secret launched this playful fragrance in 2010. This brings to mind dancing in a new dress on a sunshine-blue-sky day. It’s floral and a very pretty and pure perfume.

There are currently 4 flankers, making it one of the most popular choices in their store. All of them are in similar octagon-shaped bottles with different colors.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Purple Passion Fruit
  • Shangri-La Peony
  • Vanilla Orchid
Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Eau de Parfum

Bombshell Review

Bombshell is a subtle pleasure to the senses which very, very few Victoria’s Secret perfumes have come close to in my humble opinion (Ferragamo’s Incanto Shine being one of them). This pleasant fruity-floral scent comes with no limits on what ages may or may not use it and is a hit with young girls and women alike for not being too overpowering.

Pros

  • Not overpowering
  • Pleasant fruity notes, suitable for people of all ages

Cons

  • Does not last long

When to wear Bombshell

This is wonderful for women of all ages to wear at all times. It can go with anything. The fruity notes and floral tones will give you a put-together feeling.

3. Bombshell New York

An ode to the energy of the world’s most famous city, Bombshell New York is a fragrance inspired by the flowers of the night, bottled exclusively for the sexy and glamorous.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Star Fruit
  • Madagascar Vanilla
  • Twilight Jasmine
Victoria’s Secret Bombshell New York Eau de Parfum

Bombshell New York Review

Similar to Bombshell, Bombshell New York also has a fruity floral scent, though with an edge. Conveying undertones of starfruit, twilight jasmine, and Madagascar vanilla, it is recommended to ladies hoping to create an impression. Another way it scores over the first Bombshell is that the shorter staying intensity of Bombshell seems to have been remedied here making Bombshell New York an absolute victor. Constant use would make you realize why we ranted that you’ll never need to step out of the house again without wearing it. No cons for this little infant here, just tons of adoration.

Pros

  • The Bombshell New York lasts longer
  • It has a strong fragrance without being overwhelming

Cons

  • Extremely addicted

When to Wear Bombshell New York

Wear this perfume during the hot summer days where the notes of the fruits melt with the fresh summer breeze.

4. Crush

A zany mix of floral and spice, Victoria’s Secret ‘Crush’ is a young, fresh scent that bottles the feeling of being addicted to someone.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Pink Peppercorn
  • Treasure Peony
  • Ashok flower
Victoria’s Secret Crush Eau de Parfum

Crush Review

Finally, Victoria’s Secret launched Crush Eau de Parfum in 2016. It’s one of their most fun fragrances for younger girls. It has sweet and light florals mixed with just a touch of spicy peppercorns.
Spraying this on your neck will make you feel flirty and fun with a little extra pep in your step.
The Crush bottle is a smidge impish too. It has the trademarked Victoria’s Secret Pink colors with a round lacy squeeze top.

Pros

  • Sweetness isn’t too overpowering
  • Citrus Base
  • Summer go-to
  • Youthful & fresh scent

Cons

  • A seasonal perfume

When to Wear Crush

This is a fun and electric fragrance for young girls to wear anytime.

5. Eau So Sexy

Eau So Sexy dropped in June 2019 and is already flying off shelves. A neon-sweet buzz of juicy fruit with crisp paradise apple, Chantilly cream, and a touch of warmth from vanilla and Bergamot. While that sounds a bit unique, the scent is relatively subtle and comes off fresh, clean, and beautiful.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Bergamot
  • Chantilly Cream
  • Paradise Apple
Victoria’s Secret Eau So Sexy

Eau So Sexy Perfume Review

It’s an easy-to-wear fragrance that you can leave on all day and feel incredibly powerful and, yes, sexy! The bottle is also sexy with a flair of innocence. The light baby-pink liquid in the crystal-shaped bottle is accentuated with a solid black ribbon. First released in 2014, this perfume has a scent profile that kind of makes it smells like a dessert bar. It’s also super long-lasting, so it will stay with you for a long night or a full 8 hours working day.

Pros

  • Long-lasting scent
  • It is beautifully bundled
  • It has a warm scent and not harsh on the skin

Cons

  • The sweetness might overwhelm someone

When to Wear Eau So Sexy

The fruity notes with the earthy bergamot make this the perfect everyday perfume for young ladies.

6. Endless Love

Get ready to captivate everyone around you with the Victoria’s Secret Endless Love Fragrance Mist. Combining aloe vera and chamomile to both condition and calm, this mist has an irresistible fragrance that leaves you wanting for more.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Pomegranate
  • Apple Blossom
  • Peach
  • Ylang-Ylang
Victoria’s Secret Endless Love Eau de Toilette

Endless Love Review

Endless Love is a mash of all things fruity and is perfect for anyone wanting to smell clean and wholesome. Keep in mind though that this is a mist and not a perfume (mists have a perfume oil concentration of around 2-3%), and so is a very light fragrance that won’t last too long.

Pros

  • Dermatologically tested
  • Recommended for daily use

Cons

  • Needs to be spritzed in generous amounts for the fragrance to stick
  • Mist, not perfume
  • The scent is mild and does not last long (depending on your persona)

When to Wear Endless Love

It is popular for those who want a body mist that they can enjoy spraying on all day and night long.

7. Heavenly

Heavenly Eau de Parfum is a perfume that continues the trend towards simplicity by many different Victoria Secret’s fragrances. Unlike many of the perfumes it competes with, this fragrance is a simple blend of scent notes that come together just right and just work.

Fragrance Notes:

  • White Musk
  • Sandalwood
  • Vanilla
  • White Peony
Victoria’s Secret Heavenly Eau de Parfum

Heavenly Review

A bestseller since its launch, this particular fragrance has undergone a revamp in recent times to make it more appealing to the new generation, though thankfully it’s intrinsic tones have remained the same. The new Heavenly now comes in a bottle that has angel wings on the cap and is embellished with tiny crystals an ode to their VS angel fashion show? That’s what I’m assuming too.

Pros

  • Strikes a good balance between floral and fruity
  • Long-Lasting
  • Light, pleasant fragrance

Cons

  • Mature fragrance better suited to grown-up women
  • Vanilla tones might be overpowering for some

When to Wear Heavenly

This is perfect if you are planning to go out on a date.

8. Love

Love is one of the most recent perfumes. Victoria’s Secret just launched it in 2017. Fresh and fruity with an aromatic sampling of apricot and juniper, Love is one of the more delicate of Victoria’s Secret fragrance collection. Its profile is powdery and smooth.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Fresh Juniper
  • Apricot Blush
  • Boyfriend Tee
Victoria’s Secret Love Eau de Parfum

Love Review

The scent itself is a green, fruity scent that feels young but not immature. It’s bouncy, a little sweet, a little tangy, like a gummy worm, but one of the opaque ones. Plus, the bottle is a treasure. It’s a kind of handheld art deco moment with a powder-pink enamel bottle top and a clear enamel cap topped in black. It’s sophisticated and beautiful.

Pros

  • This perfume is one that can be used by anyone without discriminating age.
  • It has a floral scent without being too sweet.
  • This perfume is one that is now available based on prominent interest.

Cons

  • It is not accessible easily.

When to Wear Love

This is a fantastic fragrance to wear to work or anytime at all! It is such an easy fragrance for everyone to love.

9. Love Spell

Love Spell gives you the feeling of wearing flowers on your face all day from the secret garden collection. This sweet perfume has top notes of peaches and cherry blossoms, middle notes of aloe vera and has base notes of chamomile. All of these notes come together to create a scent that’s vibrant, energetic and youthful.

Fragrance Notes

  • Peach
  • Cherry Blossom
  • White Jasmine
Victoria’s Secret Love Spell Eau de Toilette

Love Spell Review

All things considered, we find the Victoria’s Secret Love Spell to be a fantastic EDT that keeps you smelling of flowers for a decent number of hours before requiring additional usage. Love Spell specifically is an extraordinary summery scent from Victoria’s Secret. It is handy for traveling and it has a straightforward container that avoids any kinds of spillage.

Pros

  • Suitable for individuals who dislike wearing strong perfumes.
  • It is also cordial for the summer.
  • It lasts long and has a mild scent.

Cons

  • You cannot have access to it as an Eau de Parfum.
  •

When to Wear Love Spell

This fragrance is best for an early evening sipping a glass of coffee or to wear for an art gallery day.

10. Love Star

Love Star is one of the newest addition to Victoria’s Secret vivid scents. With subtle notes of rose and lily, Love Star is the “more woman” version of Love. This wet fragrance depicts a night full of adventures and may fit better a woman with high expectations.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Rose Gold Apple
  • Lily
  • Night Air
Victoria’s Secret Love Star Eau de Parfum

Love Star Review

Fragrances are supposed to be aspirational and fanciful with the ability to take you away, and that’s what Love Star does. It smells like a humid, wet night with a lot of expectations like prom night. It’s sexy but not overtly sexy; it’s not trying too hard. Maybe it’s the night version of Love.

Pros

  • It is suitable for everybody to wear and it lasts longer.
  • Sweet aroma, neither floral nor fruity.

Cons

  • The sweetness might overwhelm some.
  • Not suited for all age groups.

When to Wear Love Star

It is perfect for night parties. Perhaps, this is a night version of love.

11. Night

Inspired by midnights in Paris, Victoria’s Secret ‘Night’ is a warm, sparkling fragrance that makes for the perfect provocation to both your senses and to the ones around you.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Black Plum
  • Velvet Woods
  • Luscious Apple
Victoria’s Secret Night Eau de Parfum

Night Review

The black, rhinestone-studded bottle speaks for itself as the perfect accompaniment to a mature, sensual lady. In fact, that was pretty much my sole reason for buying it. With notes of Black Plum, Velvet Woods and Luscious Apple, Victoria’s Secret Night makes for a distinct signature that makes the wearer instantly recognizable wherever she goes.

Pros

  • It is Fruity.
  • Has a subtle aroma.

Cons

  • It is not long-lasting.

When to Wear Night

If you are searching for a subtle aroma that heralds your presence in a social event, Night is the perfume for you.

12. Scandalous

Immerse yourself in the magic of Victoria’s Secret new fruity floral fragrance that takes sexy to a whole new level. With notes of Black Peony, Raspberry Liqueur, and Praline, Scandalous is one fragrance that women of all ages would love to wear.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Black Peony
  • Raspberry Liqueur
  • Praline
Victoria’s Secret Scandalous Eau de Parfum

Scandalous Review

If you’re looking to slay, this is the perfume to do it with. A fruity floral scent a la Bombshell, Scandalous has undertones of Black Peony, Raspberry Liqueur, and Praline, a distinct combination that makes for a distinct signature too.

An essentially fruity-floral fragrance (VS seems to have cornered the market on this segment), it has a beautiful dry down that gave me just the right smash of floral notes. However, I must admit that I didn’t care much to stock up on it because, though it’s a great scent, I find it comparable to a lot of other VS perfumes that I already own and must do away with before I get another.

Pros

  • Warm & floral dry down
  • Suitable for all ages
  • Fruity floral fragrance

Cons

  • Body mist better than the perfume
  • Does not last long

Where to Wear Scandalous

If you’re on the lookout to shake things up a bit while still sticking to the floral-fruity theme, Scandalous should be your go-to perfume.

13. Tease

This perfume is completely boudoir inspired by the name down to the fishnet packaging. But, even if you’re not into a boudoir, this scent has been around for quite a while and continues to be one of the top-selling fragrances for Victoria’s Secret.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Black Vanilla
  • Frozen Pears
  • Gardenia
Victoria’s Secret Tease Eau de Parfum

Tease Review

This perfume is completely boudoir inspired by the name down to the fishnet packaging. But, even if you’re not into a boudoir, this scent has been around for quite a while and continues to be one of the top-selling perfumes for Victoria’s Secret.

Pros

  • Beautifully packaged
  • Not harsh on the skin
  • Warm scent

Cons

  • Longevity is terrible
  • Not travel-friendly
  • Not suited to all age groups

When to Wear Tease

Tease may serve you better for date night or a dinner with girls rather than an everyday perfume you would wear from morning to night.

14. Tease Rebel

Tease Rebel is an unexpected floral, blending the subtle musk scent of leather with violet and rose to create a complex and layered fragrance that breaks from floral traditions.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Violet Leaf
  • Wild Rose
  • White Leather
Victoria’s Secret Rebel Eau de Parfum

Tease Rebel Review

Rebel Tease could easily be overpowering, as both flowers tend to take a front seat in scents. This is still true of this one, but they remain to stand out without weighing you down. The inclusion of leather gives the scent even more depth, and a welcome dark, velvety feel overall, which works as a nice change to the statement floral. The whole thing could be a big miss, but it works very nicely.

Pros

  • Musky Floral
  • Arousing (as reported by users)

Cons

  • Not for regular wear
  • Strong scent, to be used with a light hand

When to Wear Tease Rebel

This is for anyone that wants to feel particularly sexy. Wear it before a hot date or a romantic night in.

15. Very Sexy

The warm and sultry Very Sexy fragrance has a lux profile of vanilla orchid, clementine, and blackberry. White amber adds a creamy musk to the floral and citrus notes. Seduction in a bottle, Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy has been a crowd favorite right since its launch in the early 2000s.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Vanilla Orchid
  • Clementine
  • Wild Blackberry
Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Eau de Parfum

Very Sexy Review

Very Sexy hasn’t been taken off the shelves since its launch in the 2000s. Imagine! But smell it once, and it isn’t too hard to understand why, as Very Sexy has a delectable peppery fragrance that exudes a strong come-hither scent which is difficult to resist, and (reportedly) is a crowd favorite with boyfriends and husbands alike. Be careful to use it with a light hand though as it is a strong perfume. Not suitable for regular wear either.

Pros

  • Spicy aroma
  • Extremely arousing

Cons

  • Not for normal wear
  • It has a strong scent

When to Wear Very Sexy

This is a spicy perfume you wear on hot dates on summer nights. Wear it when you dress in your sexiest little outfit.

16. Wicked

An edgy, dark twist on the original Crush fragrance with some absolutely delicious notes like Freesia, Black sugar, and Tahitian Vanilla, Victoria’s Secret Wicked is a warm perfume meant for the 99% angel.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Black Sugar
  • Freesia
  • Tahitian Vanilla
Victoria’s Secret Wicked Eau de Parfum

Wicked Review

Wicked is hands down one of the sweetest fragrances from Victoria’s Secret collection. With notes of Freesia, Black Sugar, and Tahitian Vanilla, the Victoria’s Secret Wicked is a perfume that can be a real hit or miss with users. Personally, I feel that if you’re looking for something that is neither too floral nor too fruity, you’re going to love Wicked for what it is. A mostly vanilla sweet smell, it is rescued by just the right amount of floral tones that give it a nice warmth. Of all the VS perfumes I have tried in the past, I particularly love the dry down here (the smell that lingers after the initial notes have worn off) for its distinct smell that is never too floral, fruity, or musky, but a happy mix blend of all three.

Pros

  • Long-Lasting
  • Great dry down
  • Sweet fragrance neither floral nor fruity

Cons

  • The sweetness may be overpowering for some

When to Wear Wicked

This is for angels that want to feel particularly sexy. Wear it before a hot date or a romantic night in.
